Trusted by the Hispanic community for over three decades
Alfonso Cordero was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and graduated from the Universidad de Puerto Rico in 1980 with a specialization in accounting. He passed the CPA exam in 1984 after interning at Deloitte & Touche, where he rose to Senior Auditor by 1983.
After working in internal audit and personal lending at Citibank Puerto Rico, Alfonso relocated to Miami in 1986 and founded Cordero CPA in autumn 1988. The firm has been providing tax preparation and audit representation services to the Hispanic community ever since.
In 1992, Cordero CPA assisted more than 100 victims of Hurricane Andrew. Alfonso also hosts a weekly radio program broadcast across Miami, Kissimmee, Orlando, and on YouTube — deepening the firm's ties to the community it serves.

Alfonso Cordero
